Role in the film[]

He’s the one who’s most interested in showing everyone in his class what Edward can do. He doesn’t do much than listens to the radio and goes over to his friends house. He also nearly gets run over by Jim’s van and he wasn't seen again after Edward went back home to the mansion.

Kevin is a young boy, the brother of Kim Boggs. He struggles to refrain from saying unnecessary things and run his mouth, but this is seen in most people his age. He comes to accept Edward Scisssorhands, thinking his hands are cool, so he shows up to show and tell to show him to the class. Kevin doesn't exactly accept Edward, he's too young to know this, because he only seen the materialistic things and not the greater picture. The only thing he thinks about Edward are that "his hands are cool". Later, he comes to realize that Edward greatly helped him by saving him from death.
